Tea Party Book Club

Tea Parties + Books = Bliss

I'm so excited to share with you guys a new idea I've had! Through the wonders of online meeting technology (plus a little help from the gold ol' post office), I'm going to be hosting tea parties with readers!

Here’s the idea in a nutshell:
I send you a package full of loose-leaf tea and goodies, both edible and book-related (petite fours, candy, page flags, a notebook, a pen, etc).
You read the book. (You can get a copy from me, your favorite retailer, the library, whatever you fancy!)
We get together via online meeting technology, have our tea and treats, and chat story!

Intrigued? (I am seriously so jazzed about this idea that I've been a bit obsessed, LOL. Ask my husband. Or my kids. Or my assistant.) Here are some more details.

You'll purchase a reservation by following the link below to the store on my website. There, you can choose which party you'd like to join (I'm featuring a new book each month!), have the chance to select your choice of loose leaf tea flavor, and decide on a variety of add-ons (signed book? No problem! Want a cup and pot? Sure thing! Want to share a screen with a friend and need a second package? You've got it! Feeling generous and want to donate to the scholarship fund? Thank you so much!). A day or two before the meeting, you'll receive an email with a link to join the party and instructions! (This will be through Amazon Chime, a service similar to GoToMeetings and Zoom. All you have to do is click, type in your name, and voila! Your device's camera and audio will bring us all together!)

These parties are NOT public. There will be a max of 10 guests in each one, so that everyone can participate in the conversation and we can have some genuine fellowship. It WILL be assumed that you've read the book ahead of time.

Interested but don't have the budget this month? At the bottom of this page on my website, there's also a scholarship application. Thus far, each month I've had enough donations to sponsor at least one seat, sometimes more than that, so please don't be shy!

  1. Interested for later,sounds fun.

  2. I can't do the two dates offered this time, but I would 100% love to join the next one!

  3. How much does it cost? Could a public library host one?

    1. Hi, Beth! For an individual, it starts at $25. But if you'd like to host one at a library, we could do a price for a group! Email me for details at roseannamwhite@gmail.com if you'd be interested.
